Our client suffered from swelling and pain. There was a delay on behalf of medical staff in performing the necessary incision and drainage that lead to an emergency situation for our client. A subsequent failure to make a timely referral of the plaintiff for surgery caused necrotizing fasciitis to set in at the site of the improperly treated wound.
